Summer Tajweed Course (Module 1)

The Summer Tajweed course is equivalent to our 'Tajweed Module 1' course and is ideal for students who can recognise, read and pronounce the Arabic alphabets and basic sentences. Students who have studied our 'Access to Arabic and Tajweed' course or its equivalent, will be ideal students for this course. As this course runs on the basis of multiple sessions per week, it provides a platform for students to develop their reading capabilities at an accelerated pace. Students will have regular contact time with their teacher during class. They will focus on looking into the Qur`an and reading and also memorising Fatiha and the last 10 surahs with full tajweed.

All students are urged to ensure they are suitable for this course before enroling, as changes or refunds are usually not permitted.

Tajweed is the art of reciting the Qur'an correctly and beautifully; it is essential for every person who recites the Qur'an even if just in salah. Our recitation in salah is directly addressed to Allah (SWT) and it is a pity that so many people make severe mistakes in it because of a lack of implementation of tajweed rules. This course is for beginners introducing the basic rules of tajweed, and elementary training under the teacher. This course will ensure that students recite their short surahs correctly and get them started on applying the rules of tajweed as they read the Qur’anic text.
