How the Combination Works
The combination of the ISP with the AS/A level courses works in the following ways:
Our preferred programme and the one most popular with our students as it gives them the best of both worlds: students are able to study the full Islamic Sciences Programme (ISP) with AS/A level Religious Studies and AS/A level Arabic and combine it with up to two more AS/A levels of their choice from those we have on offer. This programme enables students to benefit fully from the Alim course by completing the first 3 years and take away a good range of A level qualifications.

Students who wish to complete their AS/A levels in two years will be able to study 3 AS/A level subjects but will limit their Islamic Sciences to core subjects from ISP level 1 and 2 such as Fiqh, Aqeedah and Tajweed. This programme is available subject to adequate subscription.

Students who have not recieved satisfactory grades in their GCSEs may choose to retake them at EC. These students will study a foundation level Islamic Studies and Arabic Language course. The full ISP is only available in conjunction with A levels in the 3 year programme shown above.
