Sheikh Salman al-Husaini al-Nadwi (May Allah swt protect him)
Sheikh Salman al-Husaini al-Nadwi is the patron of Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust. He has been involved with the Trust from the very beginning as an advisor, motivator and overal inspiration. His thoughts and insights into how education needs to be revolutionised form the backbone of the Trust's academic vision.
He is Dean of the Faculty of Shariah at the renowned Nadwat ul-Ulama madrasa in Lucknow, a member of the All-India Muslim Personal Law Board, and a senior scholar in India. A descendent of the Prophet (saw) whose very recent ancestry is also a blessed and illustrious list of ulama and mashaikh. The great Sheikh Abul Hasan Ali Al-Hasani Al-Nadwi is his mother's paternal uncle. He is also a student of the great Sheikh 'Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghuddah under whom he learned while studying hadith at the Jami'ah al-Imam Muhammad ibn Sa'ud in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a young graduate, he founded the Forum of Muslim Youth (Jam'iyyat Shabab al-Islam) which is now one of the biggest Islamic organisations in India. He is generally accepted as the worthy successor to Sheikh Abul Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi and has followed his example in showing great concern for the affairs of the Muslims. He is a man of intuition and insight and considered a great thinker among scholars. He has travelled widely visiting Muslim communities, meeting other 'ulama, academics and thinkers all over the world to see the work of Muslim organisation and institutes, take ideas from them and share his ideas and thoughts with them. A equally powerful speaker in Urdu and Arabic, he has inspired many people all over Europe, America, the Middle East and South Asia. It has been the good fortune of Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust that it has helped organise many of his journeys accross the UK and Europe and many members of the team at the Trust have been honoured with his company in these trips. He has been a regular visitor to Ebrahim College where he is well known for delivering lectures to the 'ulama of London.
Despite all of this, he finds time to write and has authored and translated (mainly from Urdu and Persian to Arabic) several works on different topics and in particular his specialities of hadith, ulum al-hadith and al-jarh wa al-ta'deel. He continues to be a major influence on the Trust and its management and staff and many of his ideas are infused in our vision, curricula and methodology.
Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmani (May Allah swt protect him)
Sheikh Taqi Uthmani needs no introduction. His advice has been taken prior to most of the major principle and academic desicions at Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust. We try to seek his advice even if it means taking a trip to Pakistan solely for that purpose. It has been a great honour to have hosted him for a major conference on Zakah in 2004. Many of the staff at EC are his direct students and he remains a great influence and inspiration to us all.
He is one of the greatest scholars of this generation. Son of the great Mufti Shafi (ra). His work on Islamic economics, finance and banking is ground breaking and world renowned and he is probably the greatest orthodox Mufti alive today. He is the vice-president of Darul 'Uloom Karachi, one of the biggest and most prestigious seminaries in Pakistan, and, amazingly, manages to teach Sahih al-Bukhari there despite all of his national and international engagements, and prolific authorship. His works are varied in topic, language and in size. He has written the multi-volume commentary of Sahih Muslim in Arabic, Takmilah Fath al-Mulhim, published a translation and commentary of the Qur'an in English, and written prolifically in his native Urdu. He has authored books on tafsir, hadith, fiqh and tasawwuf, and continues to work on major projects today. His advice will continue to be valuable to us and we hope we will continue to benefit from him as students of knowledge and as an organisation.
Sheikh Mufti Muhammad Rafi' Uthmani (May Allah swt protect him)
Elder brother of Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani and President of Darul Uloom Karachi. He is known as the grand mufti of Pakistan and is a man of great influence all of the country. He is known to be a perfectionist, a strong administrator and brilliant scholar. His strong leadership and astute management is the reason for the success and prestige of Darul Uloom Karachi where he also teaches Sahih Muslim. He is also the Author of many books on various topics and his students are scattered all over the globe serving the Deen in different capacities. It was our pleasure to host him for several days at Ebrahim College in 2007 and benefit from his advice, example and good cousel.
Maulana Abu Ammar Zahidur Rashidi (May Allah swt protect him)
Maulana Zahidur Rashidi is the son of the great Pakistani muhaddith Sheikh Sarfaraz Khan Safdar and the nephew of the late Sheikh Abdul Hamid Sawati. He has now taken his father's place as the lecturer of Sahih al-Bukhari (Sheikhul Hadith) at Madrasah Nusratul Uloom in Gujranwala where he is also vice president. He is also now the head of the Pakistan Shariat Council and the most senior patron of World Islamic Forum. Despite all of his responsibilities Sheikh Zahidur Rashidi is also an author and prolific jounalistic writer. His articles, often written with swift unedited strokes of his pen on planes, trains, or wherever he is inspired, are regularly published in many different newspapers and magazines all over the subcontinent. He is a regular advisor and visitor to Ebrahim College spending time with us at least once every year. May Allah swt grant him a long life and give us the tawfeeq to benefit from his knowledge, experience and advice. Back to Top
Dr Mahmood Ahmed Ghazi (May Allah swt protect him)
Dr Mahmood Ahmed Ghazi is the former religious affairs minister of Pakistan and the former vice-chancellor of the Internation Islamic University, Isalamabad. He is a brilliant academic and jurist who has authored many works on different topics and in various languages including a translation of the Seerah of Prophet saw from French to English; such is the breadh of his expertise and skill. He has visited the UK many times and has been hosted by Ebrahim College where he delivered lectures and seminars on various topics. His advice on curriculum, strategy and future planning is taken very seriously by the Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust team and to this day he remains just a phone call away whenever he needs to be consulted. The late Sheikh Ubaidul Haq, Khateeb of Bangladesh (May Allah swt have mercy on him)
Sheikh Ubaidul Haq was one of the most senior Ulama of Bangladesh. He was the khateeb of the national masjid of Bangladesh, Baitul Mukarram, and the Sheikul Hadith of Madrasah Qasimul Uloom in Dargah, Sylhet. A principled man whose sermons and instructions from the minbar always kept the 50,000 people who attended Jumu'ah at the masjid under strict disciplined control. Rarely can such absolute respect be witnessed. He was a man who was able to unite the ulama of Bangladesh regardless of their backgrounds or political or ideological affiliations and differences because so many of them were his direct students. His last two visits to the UK were by the invitation of Ebrahim College and he offered us priceless advice and support. He was an inspiration to the people of Bangladesh and his demise in 2007 left the whole nation in mourning. May Allah swt shower him with His mercy and grant him the highest place in Jannah. Maulana Muhi Uddin Khan, editor of the Monthly Madinah
Maulana Muhi Uddin Khan is a prolific writer, historian, and the editor of the world famous Monthly Madina (Mashik Madina). He is an inspiring man whose patronage has produced some great Islamic writers and columnists in Bangladesh. His magazine is most circulated Islamic monthly in Bangladesh by a significant margin and many of his works can be found on the bookshelves of most Bangladeshi households. He translated the Qur'an into Bengali glossed with the abridged translation of Mufti Shafi's Ma'arif al-Qur'an. This translation was published by the Saudi government and disbributed all over the world to every Bangla speaking community. He regularly visits Ebrahim College and advises us with regards our decision, plans and strategies. The Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust team also visits him in Bangladesh to seek his advice and assistance with regards to aspects of the Trust's work in the UK and Bangladesh. He is now in old age and we pray that Allah swt grants him good health and keeps him with us so we can continue to benefit from him. Back to Top
Sheikh Fazlur Rahim (may Allah protect him)
Sheikh Fazlur Rahim is the inspiration behind the EC team. He has taught every member of EC's senior management team and inspired them with his knowledge, wisdom, character and excellent example. He graduated from Darul Uloom Deoband in the 1940s where he studied under the great indian scholar Hussain Ahmad Madani and the other great shuyukh of Darul Uloom at the time. After moving to the UK he was appointed as a lecturer at al-Jamiah al-Islamiah Nottingham where he taught advanced fiqh, tafseer, and hadith including Jami' al-Tirmidhi. His students are scattered all over the UK and continue to benefit from him long after their graduation. May Allah swt grant us the tawfeeq to make the most of this jewel among scholars. Back to Top
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Doyamiri (may Allah swt have mercy on him)
Until his recent demise in 2008, Sheikh Abdul Aziz had been a pillar of support for Ebrahim College. His advice has influenced important curriculum and strategy decisions since the start of Ebrahim College. He was the Principal of Jamia Madinatul Uloom (Darus Salam) in Sylhet, Bangladesh, and the Sheikhul Hadith (Lecturer of Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami' al-tirmidhi) of the same madrasah. Despite having no political affiliations or commitments, he was an extremely influential scholar in Sylhet and the whole of Bangladesh. He has also been a staunch supporter of EC projects in Bangladesh. His demise is a deeply felt loss to EC and the whole ummah. May Allah swt shower his grave with His mercy and grant him the highest station in Jannah. Back to Top
Sheikh Muhammad Isa Mansuri
Sheikh Isa is one of the senior ulama of London who is known and respected by ulama all over the Indian subcontinent. He lives near Ebrahim College and spends most of his time writing. He is a prolific columnist and author, his articles, which get published in some of the top Urdu papers and magazines around the world will now fill many volumes. Some collections of his articles have already been published. His articles are thought provoking and almost always relate to matters relating to the condition of the whole ummah. Ebrahim al-Khalil Trust is looking in to the possibility of translating a selection of his articles in to English. He has always been exptremely supportive: promoting our work among ulama, regularly visiting and raising concerns, costantly sharing his reading and research so that the Trust's work and its team are never out of touch with what is happening to ummah around the world and what the priorities of Muslims should be accordingly. May Allah swt grant him a long life of health, barakah, and more productive work. Back to Top
Sheikh Faizur Rahman Uthmani
Sheikh Faizur Rahman Uthmani is the founding president of Idarah al-Uloom al-Islamiah, in Islamabad, Pakistan. He graduated from Darul Uloom Karachi in 1978 having studied under great scholars such as Mufti Muhammad Shafi as well as his two great sons, Mufti Muhammad Rafi and Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmani as well as many other great scholars; he also has an LLB from Karachi University. He is an expert in Ilm al-Uroodh wa al-Qawafi which has become a vary rare subject in Islamic seminaries. The Sheikh has also written a text on the subject called Mudhakkiraat fi 'Ilm al-Uroodh wa al-Qawafi; he has also written a commentary on al-Aqeedah al-Tahawiyyah and a small booklet on the educational philosophy established at his institute called Rehnuma e Talaba. In 2007, the Sheikh taught an intensive course on 'Ilm al-'Uroodh wa al-Qawafi at Ebrahim College which was mainly attended by EC students studying undergraduate levels of the Alim course, he also taught a separate course for EC staff; both courses were extremely well recieved particularly because of the Sheikh's ability to deliver the subject with such energy and enthusiasm and because of his meticulous preparation and very diverse and dinamic teaching methods. This year in 2008, the course is being offered by EC as a weekend intensive for Ulama, Imams and anyone who is an advanced student of Arabic. The course will be taught in Arabic only.
Mufti Abdul Qadir Barkatullah
(Lecturer of Advanced Fiqh and Hadith)
Mufti Barkatullah is senior imam of Finchley mosque in London and prominent Islamic Shariah law scholar with a strong background in economics and finance. He received an MPhil in Informatics from the University of Wales (UK). He acquired a Mufti (diploma) in Islamic law and Fazil (Bachelor of Islamic Studies) from the world famous Islamic Seminary, Darul Uloom Deoband, India. He is a member of the Shariah supervisory boards for several UK financial institutions. He is also a member of the Islamic Shari’ah Council where he deals with the Islamic legal problems of the Muslim community. He has now brought his wealth of knowledge and experience to Ebrahim College where he is teaching advanced Fiqh and Hadith to undergraduate level students studying at the 4 th, 5 th, and 6 th levels of the Alim course.

Sheikh Hasan Ali
(Lecturer of Usul al-Fiqh, Tafsir)
Sheikh Hasan was born and brought up in the West Midlands. His Islamic education began with the memorisation of the Qur'an followed by learning the Arabic language together with many other sciences. In 1997, after nine years of studying the Islamic Sciences, he completed his Aalimiyyah (MA Islamic Studies eqv), graduating from the famous Madrasah Qasim Al-Uloom, in Sylhet Bangladesh (Dargah Madrasah) where he came first in the entire regional board among thousands of candidates. Sheikh Hasan also has an MA in Educational Psychology from the Institute of Education, University of London.
Following his graduation, he served as the Imam of the London Islamic Cultural Society in North London for several years, where he set up the excellent Safar Academy, a weekend Islamic School which he still runs to this day. Between 2000 and 2003 he was the Imam, Head of Islamic Studies and Head of Arabic Studies at Yusuf Islam's Brondesbury College for Boys in Kilburn, North London. In 2003, he was among the founding team of scholars, who set up Ebrahim College in East London where he is now a member of the board of Directors, and also teaches Philosophy of Religion, Usul al-Fiqh, Tafsir of the Quran and Islamic History. He is also well known in the community for being an inspirational speaker on a wide range of topics at masjids, universities, colleges and in the media both in the UK and abroad.

Sheikh Shams Ad-Duha Muhammad (Aqeedah, Ulumul Hadith, and Arabic Grammar)
Sheikh Shams Ad-Duha Muhammad was brought up in the in East London. He is hafiz of the Qur’an which he memorised partly in his own locality and then completed at the famous Darul Uloom in Dewsbury (Institute of Islamic Education). After memorising the Holy Quran, he continued at the same institute and studied Arabic language, Tajweed, Fiqh and other subjects in the early years of the Dars Nizami curriculum . He then moved to Al-Jamia al-Islamia in Nottingham to continue his studies and benefit from shuyukh like Sheikh Fazlur Raheem, Sheikh Abdul Haq and others, from whom he studied, advanced Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Ulumul hadith, Hadith and Tafsir. To complete his studies he travelled to Bangladesh in 1997 to study hadith texts and receive ijaza under the late Sheikh Abdul Aziz Doymiri and the late Sheikh Nuruddin Goharpuri (Allah have mercy them both) and other shuyukh, where he also came first in his graduation class.
Since graduation, the Sheikh has been a teacher and Senior Advisor of the London Islamic Cultural Centre Maktab (now known as Safar Academy) in North London. The Sheikh has also served as Imam and Khateeb of Burdett Estate masjid where he revolutionised the education system and held popular tafsir classes. In September 2000, the Sheikh helped found the Mazahirul Uloom Secondary school where he was appointed as the Vice-Principal. In December 2002, along with other respected Ulama Sheikh Shams founded Ebrahim College and is currently serving as the Director of Education and lecturing on various Islamic sciences.
He is a well known speaker in community gatherings, universities, colleges and masjids where he has spoken on a wide range of interesting topics. The Sheikh is also currently authoring 2 books on Arabic Grammar, 2 books on Islamic creed and theology, which will soon be published insha Allah. He has also edited the translation of Ibn Rajab Hanbali’s Jami’ al-Uloom wa al-Hikam, published by Turath Publishing, and is currently working on the translations of Sharh Ma’ani al-Athar of Imam Abu Ja’far al-Tahawi, and the Qawaid fi Uloom al-Hadith and the Qawaid fi Usul al-Fiqh, of Sheikh Zafar Ahmad Uthmani. Sheikh Mujahid Ali came to England at a young age and was brought up in the North of England. During his teens he started his Islamic studies at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where he studied the Islamic sciences according to the Dars Nizami curriculum.
In 2002 he completed his hadith studies under Sheikhul Hadith Mufti Muslihuddin, Sheikh Yusuf Darwan, Sheikh Mufti Musa Badat and Sheikh Abul Qasim, from whom he received ijazah. He then traveled to Syria for further studies in Hadith under several mashayikh (scholars) such as Sheikh Mohammad Asa'd Saeed As-Sagarji Ad- Dimashqi, and also studied advanced Arabic at Ma'had al-Lugah a branch of Damascus University.
Since 2004 the sheikh has been an Arabic language and Tajweed teacher at Ebrahim College. Whilst teaching both these subjects he has compiles an anthology of Arabic literature as a literature textbook, and written a commentary on al-Muqaddamah al-Jazariyyah in tajweed, both of which will soon be published. He is currently the head of Arabic Language at EC. The sheikh also has ijaazah in al-Qira’aatal-Sab’ from the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury and teaches this to advanced tajweed students at Ebrahim College.
Sheikh Ashraf Az-Zaman (Fiqh)
Sheikh Ashraf Zaman was born in Bangladesh and brought up in the UK. During his teens Sheikh Ashraf went away to West Yorkshire to study at the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury, where he studied the Islamic sciences according to the Dars Nizami system. He then traveled to Pakstan and continued his studies at the renowned Darul-Uloom Karachi under some of the greatest scholars of the world such as Mufti Muhammad Taqi and Rafi Usmani, may Allah swt protect them both.
He graduated from Darul-Uloom Karachi in 1996 with ijazah from his shuyukh. After graduation sheikh Ashraf was involved with youth in East London, organizing lectures, study circles and other youth activities.
In 1999 he founded a media organization named An-Najm which propagated knowledge through the production and distribution of Islamic media products.
In 2003 Sheikh Ashraf became a Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) teacher at Ebrahim College and the head of the Fiqh department. He has also compiled various resources on the subjects which he is continuing to develop for publication insha-Allah.
Sheikh Najmul Alam (advanced Nahw, Tajweed, Hadith)
Sheikh Najmul-Alam was born in Bangladesh and also received his early education in Bangladesh. He came to England at the age of 11. After a short time at secondary school, he started his Islamic studies at the institute of Islamic Education in West Yorkshire where he studied for 8 years. During this time he studied the Islamic sciences under many shuyukh such as Sheikh Mufti Yusuf Sacha, Sheikh Abul Qasim, Sheikh Muhammad Kamal, Sheikh Mufti Musa Badat, Sheikh Yusuf Darwan and others.
In 1992 he traveled to India to finish off his Aalimiyya course, there he joined the famous Madrasah Kashiful-Uloom in New Delhi where he studied hadith under many great shuyukh such as Sheikh Izhar al-Hasan, Sheikh Zubair Al-Hasan, Sheikh Ilyas Barabankwi and Sheikh Ya’qub Sahanpuri. As well as receiving ijazah from all of these shuyukh, he also has ijazah from Sheikh In’am al-Hasan, the amir of da’wah and tabligh at the time.
Sheikh Najm has always been active in youth and da’wah work and has also worked as an Imam of Plashet Road Masjid. Between 2001 and 2003 the Sheikh taught Arabic syntax, etymology and literature at the London Islamic School. In 2003 he became a teacher at the Ebrahim College where he currently teaches advanced Arabic grammar and Hadith. His active da’wah and youth work benefits EC students and instills in them the inspiration to work with and on fellow youth. He is also an advisor for an Islamic evening school at the Shahjalal masjid in Manor Park.
Sheikh Abdullah Abdulsamei (Arabic Language)
Sheikh Abdullah memorised the Qur'an and studied Islamic texts at the holy city of Makkah al-Mukarramah under various teachers. He has an MA in Islamic Studies from The Muslim College and has a PGCE from the University of Greenwich. Sheikh Abdullah is currently developing curriculum resources for Arabic language which will, insha-Allah, be published in conjunction with the work on Arabic Grammar by Sheikh Shams. He currently teaches Arabic Language and classical Arabic poetry at Ebrahim College. Back to Top
Qari Syed Hassan Bukhari (Qira'ah and Tajweed)
Qari Imam Bukhari comes from an illustrious family of scholars and Qaris. He graduated from Jamia Ashrafia followed by the College of Shari'ah at the University of Madinah, and the College of Quran & Tajweed at Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
Imam Bukhari received ijazah (certification) from Shaykh Syed Hassan al-Bukhari in Hifz (memorisation) of the Qur'an. He received his ijaza in the Qir'aat Sab'ah wa 'asharah (seven and ten recital traditions) according to the method of al-Imam al-Shatibi and the riwayah Hafs in particular, from Imam 'Asim al-Kufi. At Al-Azhar, he received ijazah from Shaykh Mustafa Ismail, one of Egypt's greatest reciters in the 20th Century. He has also received ijazah from Shaykh Raghib Mustafa Ghawoosh in the Hafs and Warsh traditions.
Qari Imam Bukhari's love and knowledge of the Qur'an and its recitation has won him several prizes and achievements such as the World Qiraat (recitation) Competition which he won for seven successive years from 1981 to 1987. He has been made an honorary member of the Al-Azhar Selection Committee and judge for various Qiraat competitions across the world. He has taught Qiraa'aat and Tajweed at the Kuala Lumpur University. He has served as an Imam for a number of masjids in the UK. Currently he teaches Tajweed in London at Ebrahim College and also trains upcoming Qaris and Imams in different parts of the UK. Recently, he was one of the Judges of the National Qiraa'at Competition on Islam Channel.

Shaykh Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf
Shaykh Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera has been studying the traditional Islamic sciences and writing scholarly works for most of his life. He completed the bulk of his studies at Darul Uloom Bury, North England, where he memorized the Qur’an by the age of fifteen and thereafter went on to complete a rigorous, six-year Shari‘a program. He graduated from this program with authentic certifications (ijaza) in numerous Islamic disciplines, including Arabic, Islamic jurisprudence, and hadith (with particular emphasis on the six canonical collections of hadith (Sihah Sitta) and the Muwattas of Imam Malik and Imam Muhammad. His teachers at Darul Uloom Bury included Shaykh Yusuf Motala and other students of Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi.
Upon graduation, he traveled to South Africa, where he attended Madrasah Zakariyyah part-time to gain specialized training in answering legal questions (ifta’) under Mufti Rada al-Haq. While in South Africa, he also completed a Bachelor or Arts (with honors) in Islamic Studies at Rand Afrikaans University, Johannesburg, under the supervision of Professor Abdul Rahman I. Doi.
He then traveled to Syria, where he received a second certification in Qur’anic recitation and memorization, this time from Shaykh ‘Abd al-Razzaq al-Halabi, who possessed a short, unbroken chain of transmission (sanad) to the Messenger of Allah (upon him be peace). Additionally, he received a certification from Shaykh Adib Kallas after reading Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari’s Sharh al-Fiqh al-Akbar and attending lectures on other classical texts of Islamic creed (‘aqida).
After his trip to Syria, he traveled to Saharanpur, India, where he received a formal authorization to issue legal rulings (fatawa), which required a close study of part or all of a number of classical jurisprudential texts, including, among others, Ibn Nujaym’s Al-Ashbah wa ’l-naza’ir and ‘Allama Haskafi’s Al-Durr al-mukhtar (along with its gloss, Radd al-muhtar, by ‘Allama Ibn ‘Abidin al-Shami). During this time, Shaykh Abdur-Rahman also attended classes on the principles of hadith (usul al-hadith), studying ‘Allama Lakhnawi’s Al-Raf ‘ wa ’l-takmil fi ’l-jarh wa ’l-ta’dil and parts of Imam Suyuti’s Tadrib al-rawi.
Shaykh Abdur-Rahman attained additional certifications in hadith from such great scholars as Shaykh Muhaddith Habib al-Rahman al-A‘zami (through his student Shaykh Mufti Zayn al-‘Abidin), Shaykh Abu ’l-Hasan ‘Ali Nadwi, and Shaykh Muhammad al-‘Awwama. May Allah continue to bless those of his teachers who are still alive and have mercy on those who have passed on to the next.
To date, Shaykh Abdur-Rahman has authored the highly popular Fiqh al-Imam: Key Proofs in Hanafi Fiqh (1996) and co-authored Reflections of Pearls (1995). He also published Provisions for the Seekers (1996), a translation and commentary of the Arabic work Zad al-Talibin, a collection of short hadiths compiled by Mawlana 'Ashiq Ilahi from ‘Allama Tibrizi’s Mishkat al-Masabih. This work has recently been revised and republished in an extended edition. His latest published work is Prayers for Forgiveness: Seeking Spiritual Enlightenment through Sincere Supplication (2004), a translation of Al-Istighfarat al-Munqidha min al-Nar, a collection of seventy prayers for forgiveness of Imam Hasan al-Basri. Additionally, Shaykh Abdur-Rahman has completed an unpublished translation of Imam Abu Hanifa’s Al-Fiqh al-Akbar, along with its commentary, written by ‘Allama Maghnisawi, with notes from Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari’s larger commentary (now published).
Sheikh Mohammad Sbini

Sheikh Mohammad Sbini was born in 1967 in Damascus ( Syria). He studied Shariah under the Grand Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmad Keftaro(RA) for about 15 years, at the Shariah Institute for Dawah and Guidance (Abu An-noor).
After he graduated he continued his education in The International Faculty for Dawah ( Damascus). He came to England in 1992 and has been involved in different Islamic activities and taught several different Islamic subjects such as Arabic, Usul Al-Fiqh, Shafe’e Fiqh, Aqeedah, and Seerah.
In 2002 he began lecturing at Ebrahim College and he has taught Arabic and Aqeedah. He currently teaches Seerah of The Prophet Muhmmad (SAW), and the Stories of The Prophets(Qasas Al-Anbiya).
